The popular sweet treat for Valentine’s Day is back after missing the 2019 holiday.

You may recall that last year Necco went out of business. That’s the company that produced Sweethearts Candy for the past century.

Spangler Candy Co. purchased Necco, but was unable to get production of the popular love holiday candy up in time for Valentine’s Day 2019.

Brach’s and Sour Patch produced their own version of the iconic candy last year in an attempt to capitalize on the hiatus.

Spangle Candy has announced they have been able to get production of the original Sweethearts rolling in time to return them to store shelves for Valentine’s Day 2020.
