Keith Urban recalls his Christmas time growing up was a different kind of “white” than most people enjoy.

Any white the country music singer-songwriter had during his Christmases growing up in his native Australia was from sand not snow.

“I have great memories of getting up early and going and jumping on your parents’ bed and getting them up. We had great Christmases growing up. I really, really enjoyed them. Mostly, we’d go to the beach, you know, ’cause there it’s summertime. Load up the station wagon and head off to the beach,” Keith shares.

I know that is the kind of “White Christmas” my wife would prefer to have.
