It’s been a big year for ISU’s Gamma Phi Circus at Illinois State University, celebrating 90 years, and they are going to end the year with a cherry on top as they head to New York for the 93rd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!
To make it even more excited, Billy Porter, Grammy Tony, and Emmy winner will join their performance!
This is a ONCE in a LIFETIME experience for these students!
Billy Porter is an award-winning actor, singer, director, composer, and playwright, best known from the Broadway musical Kinky Boots, and most recently for his role on FX’s Pose, where he made history by becoming the first openly gay Black man to win an Emmy for Best Actor in a Drama Series.
The group prides themselves in being “America’s oldest circus” and they are used to big crowds, but this will be the largest audience EVER as the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade is broadcast to millions of people!
Tune in and support Illinois State University’s Gamma Phi Circus this Thursday (Thanksgiving), November 28th at 9am!
