A lot of couples often have at least one or two television shows they watch together, and even though Carly Pearce and her husband, Michael Ray, aren’t home together very often, there is one show the newlyweds vow to share only with each other.

“We love This Is Us,” says Carly. “That’s a show that we never miss and we don’t – we call it ‘cheating’ on the other one – so we don’t cheat and watch without the other person.”

Like many couples, there are also shows Michael tolerates because it makes Carly happy. For instance, she says, “I’ve made him watch The Bachelor, so he watches that. He really hates The Bachelorette though, but I’m working on that. And yeah, we watch like random documentaries and random things, but This Is Us is something we don’t miss.”

Thank goodness for DVR’s, because both Carly and Michael are on the road through mid-December. Carly is promoting her new duet with Lee Brice, “I Hope You’re Happy Now,” which will be on her new self-titled album, coming Valentine’s Day 2020.
