Night two of the Blind Auditions on The Voice aired last night (9/24). The latest combination of coaches for season 17 of the show seems to be working well together when it comes to entertaining chemistry.

Of course the main goal for each musical star at this stage is to build their teams from the Blind Auditions.

Enter 24-year-old Cory Jackson from Jonesboro, Arkansas sang Glen Campbell’s “Galveston” for his audition. Cory’s rich baritone voice not only motivated Blake Shelton to press his button, but it also got chair turns from Kelly Clarkson and Gwen Stefani. Both ladies did what they could to try to convince Cory to choose one of them instead of the country music superstar on the panel of coaches.

Cory made the obvious (and in my opinion best) choice joining Team Blake. I feel like he has a good chance of going deep into this competition if not make it to the finals.

Blake ends week one of season 17 with three Team Blake artists. John Legend also brought three to his team. The ladies ended week one in the best shape as Kelly scored four artists and Gwen brought five singers to her team. See which artists are on each team at the official website of The Voice here.

The Blind Auditions for The Voice Season 17 will continue Monday night, September 30th starting at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) on NBC.
