Darius Rucker Joins Blake Shelton’s Team Blake on ‘The Voice’

The Season 17 advisors have been revealed for The Voice. Darius Rucker will help Blake Shelton with Team Blake during the Battle Rounds.

Darius should be a great mentor for the contestants. He has basically had two careers in the music industry. He was the front man for the pop/rock group Hootie And The Blowfish (and is for their reunion). He has also had a very successful solo career as a country music artist.

Normani will be the advisor for Kelly Clarkson during the Battle Rounds. Normani was a member of the all-girl group Fifth Harmony before launching a solo career.

John Legend’s Battle Rounds advisor will be Usher. The award winning singer-songwriter has also served and won as a couch on The Voice.

Gwen Stefani is enlisting the help of will.i.am as her advisor during the Battle Rounds. Will has been making music for nearly twenty years and has worked as a solo artist as well as with some of the biggest names in the pop and hip-hop music world.

Season 17 of The Voice premiers Monday, September 23rd with the Blind Auditions on NBC TV.
