Planning to hit the road this Labor Day weekend? Turns out, you’re not the only one who thought it was a good idea. So did many of your fellow Americans.

According to INRIX, expect a 10% increase in travel times, which could be far longer in major metro areas.

If you haven’t already left, you’re somewhat lucky. Late afternoon Thursday was the worst time to depart, although midday today won’t be so great. Prepare for the return on Monday morning to be rough, notes the company’s transportation analyst, Trevor Reed.

Jetting off to your destination over the long weekend won’t save you from delays, with Airlines for America revealing that 95,000 more passengers per day are at US airports compared to this time last year.

Where are you traveling to this weekend?
