It gets hot in the summer months. I don’t know if it’s ever gotten THIS hot in Illinois, but in Phoenix a US Postal worker just shared a video of himself cooking a steak on the dashboard of his truck.

HOW CRAZY IS THAT?!

The worker posted pics of the steak at different stages of the cooking process with a meat thermometer rising to about 142 degrees Fahrenheit. That’s about medium rare, right? It took about 2 1/2 hours to cook the steak.

The video was meant to show how insanely hot it gets in Phoenix, Arizona, especially for people who work outside.

The video immediately went viral and now politicians are calling for an investigation into the working conditions of Postal workers.
