Thomas Rhett was stopped in his tracks by a sign at a recent concert. He had to make the dream come true for the 11-year-old cancer survivor!
According to WKBW.com Madison Muckle of Albion was diagnosed with cancer at the age of three. She was pronounced cancer-free in 2013. Five years after her final treatment she was proclaimed an official cancer survivor in 2018.
To celebrate the victory Madison’s mom got her tickets to see one of her favorite singers Thomas Rhett in concert. It was at that concert at Darien Lake that Madison had the sign she made of her “Look What God Gave Her” checklist. The name of her checklist was a nod to Thomas Rhett’s latest number one single.
Next to “Beat Cancer” the box was checked. Next to “Thomas Rhett Concert” the box was checked. Next to “Selfie With Thomas” the box was UN-checked.
When Thomas Rhett saw the sign he said “Oh my gosh. Hold on two seconds,” apparently made sure he was reading it right then told her, “Get up here.” Thomas Rhett did more than take a selfie with Madison. He brought her on stage to do it!
Thomas Rhett has gone a step further by posting the following video of the special moment with Madison on his social media accounts…
