Blake Shelton sat down with Entertainment Tonight‘s (ET) Nancy O’Dell. The country music-TV star talked about Adam Levine leaving The Voice and marriage with Gwen Stefani.

Blake reveals how he felt when he first heard Adam would not return for season 17 of The Voice this fall. He states that at first and still, “I can’t imagine, honestly, what the show is gonna feel like” without Adam.

He also reveals what, if any, role he had in Gwen Stefani taking Adam’s chair for the next season.

When asked about he and Gwen’s relationship he says they are very happy together and, “that’s gotta lead somewhere.” Addressing all of the tabloid rumors of a marriage between the two he reveals how they won’t share the news, “when it happens.”

Both storylines will continue to be something we will have to watch unfold.
