The final results in the Cross Battles were revealed last night (4/23) on season 16 of The Voice. This new round of competition was added this season.

The coaches chose who performed and challenged another coach to choose one of their team members for the head-to-head battle. America voted to choose a winner of the battle. Each coach had a “Save” and a “Steal” to use during the two-week round of competition. Artists that did not win their battles and were not either saved or stolen were eliminated from the competition regardless of what team they were on.

Blake Shelton had only two of his Team Blake artists not win their respective battles. Last week he used his “Save” to keep Selkii on his team and the show. Last night he was not able to save Karly Moreno (whom he stole from Adam Levine’s team in the Battle Rounds) so she was eliminated. Blake used his “Steal” last night to bring Kendra Checketts back to Team Blake after Adam was able to steal her in the Battle Rounds.

Blake ends the Cross Battles with the most artists remaining on the show. Team Blake’s eight artists moving forward are: Kim Cherry, Gyth Rigdon, Carter Lloyd Horne, Dexter Roberts, Andrew Sevener, Selkii, Oliv Blue (stolen from John Legend in Battle Rounds) and Kendra Checketts ( stolen back from Adam in Cross battles).

Kelly Clarkson and John Legend end the Cross Battles with six artists apiece on their teams. Adam Levine took the biggest hit to his team in the Cross battles as he ends the new round of competition with just four artists on his team. Find out which artists remain on those teams at the official website of The Voice here.

The online feature of the show called the “Comeback Stage” has come to and end for this season. Bebe Rexha has served as the fifth coach this season in this second chance for artists to make it to the live show. The online competition has come to an end and the winner has been revealed…

The next round of competition on The Voice Season 16 begins Monday, April 29th at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) on NBC.
