Brad Keselowski dominated the STP 500 as he went on to score his second win of the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series season at Martinsville Speedway Sunday (3/24).
The first short track race of the 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season was quite uneventful for the sport. There was some beating and banging, and bumpers were used a little. However, there wasn’t any major on track incidents. In fact, there were only seven caution periods. Two of those were at the end of the first two stages of the race which Brad won.
Brad led a dominating 446 laps in the 500 lap race including the last one to win the race. Chase Elliott claimed a second place finish with Kyle Busch in third place. Ryan Blaney crossed the finish line fourth and Denny Hamlin scored a fifth place finish. See the complete race results for the STP 500 here.
