The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series is heading to Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend for the Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube.
The drivers and teams have had two races to begin to adjust to the new aero package, new crew chiefs, team members and other changes for this season. While they may not be 100% adjusted yet, this weekend could produce some of the best racing this year.
The Las Vegas Motor Speedway is similar in size and shape to last week’s race in Atlanta. There are some subtle differences in the tack. There is also a huge difference in climate from Atlanta to the desert of Las Vegas. There will still be some challenges for drivers, crew chiefs and team members this weekend.
Here is a look at what the teams will be dealing with and which active drivers have performed the best at this track during their careers.
