Get ready Netflix users…we are going to have to start paying more to watch our favorite movies and shows again. Netflix announced it will be raising prices for its 58 million subscribers in the US.
To be honest, I’m not that upset about it.
Over the next three months, all of Netflix’s plans will see an increase of $1-$2 for current users. That’s not too bad, is it? It’s supposedly the largest price hike in Netflix history, and the fourth time they have increased their prices since 2007.
Again, it’s not that bad is it?
Let me play devil’s advocate. Looking back at the last year especially, I’ve enjoyed more Netflix original content than almost anything else I’ve watched. So, if paying an extra $1-$2 a month helps that continue, and can also generate even MORE new and original content, well then take my money. I’m ok with it.
