The Naperville Fire and Police Department rescued an 11-year-old boy who had fallen through a frozen pond Sunday (1/13).
The boy fell through the ice on a retention pond in Naperville, Illinois. Neighbors called in the fire and police heroes who arrived on the scene within four minutes according to NBCChicago.com.
In the video posted to CBS Chicago’s YouTube channel above you can see the heroic actions of the firefighters and police officers to rescue the boy.
NBC Chicago reports that none of the rescuers were injured during the rescue. They also report the boy was taken to a local hospital where he was listed to be in stable condition.
