Sad news for Dolly Parton, her brother Floyd has passed from an unknown illness at the age of 61.

Dolly’s brother was also a singer-songwriter and wrote two hit songs with Dolly over the years. There haven’t been many details released and Dolly hasn’t commented on the death of her brother. In fact, Floyd passed away last Thursday, December 6th, and the news just broke this morning. Dolly’s new Netflix film “Dumplin” was released on Friday, and she has been all over day-time and late-night TV promoting the movie with Jennifer Aniston.
