Last night (10/1) the Blind Auditions continued on season 15 of The Voice. Who did Blake Shelton add to Team Blake on the show?

The episode began with the artist that was “leaked” a couple of days prior to the airing of the show. Dave Fenley took the stage to perform his Blind Audition. The 39-year-old chose to sing the Travis Tritt classic hit “Help Me Hold On.” His rich voice was enough to get Kelly Clarkson to hit her button quickly. Blake listened to the performance a little longer and then pressed his button.

Kelly threw it all on the table to get Dave to choose her as his coach. Dave’s mom wanted her son to choose Blake. In the end mom got her wish as Dave chose to join Team Blake to get his mom a “neck hug” from Blake … among other reasons as well I’m sure.

Rachel Messer is a 19-year-old country girl with dreams of become a country music star. She chose to put her vocal talents to work with LeAnn Rimes‘ song “I Want To Be A Cowboy’s Sweetheart.” While Rachel navigated the vocal calisthenics of the song Kelly again pressed her button first with Blake again waiting until later in the song to press his button.

Once again Kelly tried her best to no avail as Rachel chose Blake as her coach leaving Kelly frustrated at losing another country artist to the country music superstar’s Team Blake.

Chevel Shepherd sang The Band Perry‘s “If I Die Young” for her Blind Audition. Again, Kelly hit her button first for the 16-year-old in hopes of getting a country artist and keeping her from Team Blake. Much to Kelly’s dismay Blake did also eventually hit his button as did Jennifer Hudson at nearly the last second.

Kelly talked a lot (as she pretty much always does). Blake did what Blake does and to the surprise of everybody, including Kelly, Chevel chose to join Team Kelly! Kelly finally successfully took a country artist from Blake. That also made Adam Levine happy as he has been trying to achieve that for many seasons.

18-year-old Lynnea Moorer was one of the artists that did not get a chair to turn for her Blind Audition. However, thankfully for Lynnea she had something that made Kelsea Ballerini chose to add her to the list or artists for the “Comeback Stage” online feature.

Blake added two artists to bring Team Blake to six members at the end of the night. Both Kelly and Jennifer also ended the night with a total of six members on their respective teams. Adam is just one artist behind the other three with five artists currently on Team Adam.

Tonight the Blind Auditions continue at 7:00 PM central time (8:00 PM eastern time) with The Voice Season 15 on NBC.
