Chris Lane is enjoying the success and fan reaction to his latest single “Take Back Home Girl.” In this NASH Network Exclusive he says that Tori Kelly took the song to the next level.
The song is the debut single from the country music singer-songwriter’s recently released new album Laps Around The Sun. The song is doing well as it is in the top 10 this week on the country radio airplay singles charts.
Chris says the song is doing well for him live as well. He feels something different with this song in concert versus his other hit singles.
“People have sang ‘Fix’ and ‘For Her,’ my first two singles,” he shares, “But, there’s something special about this song. It’s definitely the biggest one I’ve ever had and lucky to have been the one to have cut it.”
The song features pop star Tori Kelly collaborating with Chris. He says that she definitely added to the quality of the song.
“I feel like the song was great just having myself on it, like lyrically and everything about the song was great,” Chris states. “But, it just added that next level when she jumped on it.”
The song has the real possibility of becoming Chris’ second career #1 single following his song “Fix.”
