Jordan Davis scored a #1 with his debut single titled “Singles You Up.” The country music singer-songwriter celebrated the milestone and released an acoustic version of the song.
Jordan and his co-writers of the song Steven Dale Jones and Justin Ebach were joined by family, friends and industry colleagues at Fat Bottom Brewery in Nashville Monday (7/30) for a party to mark the achievement. During the event Jordan shared his expectations for this song when it was first released.
“I was just hoping that people would buy into who I am as an artist and the music I was putting out,” Jordan stated. “I felt like ‘Singles You Up’ was the best way and the best song that defined what I wanted to do. And, man, I was lucky enough to be in the room with these guys when it happened.”
The song reached the top of both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles charts for airplay at country radio for the week of April 16th this year. The song can be found on Jordan’s debut album Home State available everywhere now.
You can see Jordan perform live when he comes to Champaign, IL on the Jake Owen “Life’s Whatcha Make It Tour” at the State Farm Center Friday, September 7th. Get concert and ticket details here.
