Yesterday (7/10) was Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher‘s wedding anniversary and the country singer posted a love message on Twitter to her hubby to mark the occasion.
Carrie and her professional hockey player husband have had quite a life together in their eight years of marriage. Carrie has continued to be one of the biggest names in country music doing tours, making albums, winning awards and even starting her own athletic wear line.
Mike has played hockey for two different NHL teams. The switch between teams required the couple to move from Canada where he played at the start of the marriage to Nashville to play for his new team. He retired from playing hockey. Then, he returned to the ice for another run at a championship. He has since retired for a second time.
In the process of all of this (and more), the couple became parents of their now three-year-old son Isaiah.
Carrie posted the pictures below of herself with Mike along with a message to her hubby for their 8th anniversary on Twitter…
Here’s to 8 years, babe! Where does the time go?! I love you today more than yesterday…which was more than the day before…and so on and so forth. Here’s to many more years together! ❤️ you! pic.twitter.com/Ketlzedugy
