William Michael Morgan was joined by some veterans for a very moving performance of a song titled “The Last Monday In May.”
William Michael was on the historic Grand Ole Opry stage to perform. One of the songs he performed was in conjunction with Operation Song. The country music singer-songwriter was joined by veterans to perform the song.
The lyrics of the song are very poignant. While it important that we honor our military heroes on Memorial Day that has just passed for 2018, what strikes me when I heard the lyrics is that we need to make sure to honor those heroes all year round.
The debt we owe the men and women of the Nation’s military cannot ever be repaid. However, that sacrifice deserves recognition more than just on “The Last Monday In May” as the song is titled.
Thank you to the veterans and William Michael Morgan for this moving performance posted at the top of the page.
Thank you to all the men and women past, present and future of the United States Military. To those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom, thank you is never enough. God Bless you all and God Bless the United States of America.
