Luke Combs says that chasing his dream is giving him a “wild life.” However, it sounds like he is enjoying every minute of it.

In the past year the singer-songwriter from Asheville, North Carolina has released his debut #1 studio album This One’s For You, available everywhere now.

The first two singles from that album “Hurricane” and “When It Rains It Pours” have reached the number one spot on the country radio airplay charts. The third single “One Number Away” is currently in the top five and looking like Luke could make it three out of three chart toppers sent to country radio.

Along the way he has performed concerts, been on major tours like Brantley Gilbert‘s “Devil Don’t Sleep Tour” that stopped here in Bloomington, IL last year and currently Jason Aldean‘s “High Noon Neon Tour” that stopped just down the road in Peoria, IL a week ago (5/11/18).

To say that Luke has been busy would be an understatement.

“My daily life is wild,” he admits.

While he calls it a “wild life” he is not talking about drinking and partying, although I would imagine he does enjoy a beverage or two once in a while. That “wild life” he is talking about involves little time at home as he is constantly promoting his music and doing concerts.

“I travel all the time,” Luke shares, “I was home a day and a half this week.”

He reveals that while this is the life he chose, there are aspects that he had no idea would be a part of it.

“It’s been different, you know three, four, five nights a week playing, doing different things,” Luke confesses. “You know there’s so many different things that you don’t think are gonna be part of this job that are part of this job.”

Don’t take him wrong, he is not complaining. Luke is very happy doing what he does and would not trade places with anyone.

Congratulations to Luke on not only getting to chase his dreams, but also the getting to see them coming true! Best of luck on making it three number one singles out of three released in the coming weeks with “One Number Away.”
