Country music singer-songwriter RaeLynn says she did not see any of destruction that the erupting volcano has caused during her trip to Hawaii.
RaeLynn and her mother made the flight across the ocean to the island of Oahu in Hawaii for a special trip in partnership with Make A Wish Hawaii. She was there to make a special young girl’s wish come true. She posted the message and pictures below to her Twitter account about the reason for her visit to Hawaii.
I will never forget this experience. Thank you so much for making dreams come true, @MakeAWishHawaii. pic.twitter.com/JsEer4fXz2

When asked about seeing any of the lava that has been making news around the world because of the devastation it is causing RaeLynn replied, “No, I didn’t see any lava and I’m very thankful that I didn’t.”
She explains what she and her mother were doing with that special girl with Make A Wish while on their visit, “I was there, but me and my mom were shopping and just having a good time.
RaeLynn says she found out about the eruption after her trip, “I didn’t even know there was volcanoes erupting until I left.”
While there has been massive destruction caused by the volcano, RaeLynn is looking at the positive side, “Apparently the volcano that did erupt, I mean nobody was hurt, so that’s great.” So far no deaths or serious injuries have been reported in connection to the situation in Hawaii.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the people in Hawaii who are dealing with the devastation of the volcano eruption.
