Carrie Underwood appeared on the Today Show yesterday (5/10) where she opened up to Hoda Kotb.

Hoda asked Carrie about her scary fall last year that left her with 40 stitches, her momentous return to the spotlight at the ACM Awards performing her song “Cry Pretty,” where Carrie cries when she needs to and how the song has been touching the lives of so many fans. Hoda even joined Carrie for a workout with the singer’s own mom, Carole, in honor of Mother’s Day.
