Country music singer-songwriter Granger Smith is involved in every aspect of his music since it is a snapshot of himself.
Granger co-wrote his first number one song “Backroad Song” with Frank Rogers. However, Granger gets more involved with his music than just writing the songs. He explains he gets in on everything from beginning to end of his music, “Whether it’s writing the song or in the recording process, in the editing process, playing the instruments.”
“That’s always been kind of a key piece,” Granger explains of being so involved with the music that he records, “Ultimately, we want the best songs that represent me to be on there.”
His current single “Happens Like That” is another example of total involvement by Granger. He co-wrote the song with Florida Georgia Line‘s Tyler Hubbard along with Justin Wilson and Andy Albert.
The song is currently in the top 15 on the country radio airplay charts and can be found on his current album When the Good Guys Win, available everywhere now.
