Last night (3/19) Blake Shelton appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and the show’s host may have gotten Blake in trouble.
Blake and Jimmy Fallon always have a good time when the country music singer-songwriter appears on the late night talk show. Jimmy decided for this appearance the two should take part in the “Name That Song Challenge.” Jimmy was doing much better than Blake at the beginning, but it was when a specific song from a specific female singer was not recognized by Blake that Jimmy may have gotten his friend in trouble. Watch the video below to see the fun…
Blake was able to get the final song that Jimmy said was worth “10,000 points” to win the game. However, that may be little consolation to Blake’s girlfriend Gwen Stefani.
The two also spent some time talking. They discussed Blake’s tour, vocal warm-up that he does, how he got the nickname “Hook Shot Shelton,” The Voice and how he and Kelly Clarkson made Adam Levine cry one New Year’s Eve. These two are always a hoot together!
Blake also performed his latest single “I Lived It” on the show last night.
Blake continues on season 14 of The Voice Monday and Tuesday nights on NBC. He was also just announced as a performer on the upcoming 53rd ACM Awards Show hosted by Reba McEntire and airing live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 15th at 8/7 central on CBS.
