Last night (3/13) the Blind Auditions wrapped up on season 14 of The Voice. Blake Shelton began the night needing just one artist to fill Team Blake. The same was the case for Alicia Keys and Kelly Clarkson. Adam Levine needed two artists to complete his team.
Alicia managed to fill her team first which left Blake, Kelly and Adam ready to push their buttons when Dallas Caroline took the stage. She performed her version of musical icon Willie Nelson‘s legendary hit song “Always On My Mind.” Kelly was the first to press her button followed quickly after by Adam. Blake pressed his button a little while later in the performance.
We found out in the segment leading up to the performance that Dallas was named after the song titled “Dallas” by Alan Jackson. It was because of that and the song she chose to sing that I gave the edge to Blake even though both Adam and Kelly gave very compelling arguments on why Dallas should join their respective teams.
It was Blake that Dallas chose as her coach and completed Team Blake with her choice.
Blake Shelton’s Team Blake for season 14 of The Voice includes the artists Kyla Jade, Kaleb Lee, Pryor Baird, Brett Hunter, Austin Giorgio, Spensha Baker, Wilkes, JessLee, Jaron Strom, Bransen Ierland, Jordan Kirkdorffer and Dallas Caroline.
The Battle Rounds are next on The Voice Season 14 and Team Blake will have the help of country music star, and Blake’s good friend, Trace Adkins as they prepare for their performances together to advance on the show. The first night of battles will be this coming Monday, March 19th starting at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) on NBC.
Just for fun, below is a video from The Voice with the “Fashion Police” taking aim mostly at Adam on the show.
