Thomas Rhett was able to hold on to the #1 spot for a second week with his song “Marry Me.”

The advanced Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles charts are out and Thomas Rhett’s 10th career chart topper is now a two-week number one song.

Thomas Rhett might be turning into country music’s next superstar with chart topping singles and sold out concerts all across the country. But, that doesn’t stop him from being a regular guy and wanting to be a good family man.

For example, when he is not on the road, he tries to help out around the house for his wife Lauren. Although sometimes he may not be as successful at it as he hoped to be.

“One chore Lauren would love if I was better at would be folding clothes,” Thomas Rhett shares. “I have tried so many times to get up early before she even gets up and go like unload the dryer.”

Apparently, the country music singer-songwriter gets an “A” for effort, but not such high a grade for execution.

“Even when I fold all of her stuff and try to be like a good husband,” he confesses, “She’ll go in there and refold everything.”

That doesn’t mean Thomas Rhett is going to stop making the effort, “I’ll try to get better at it,” he states.

Congratulations to Thomas Rhett on trying to be a good husband and for successfully being a good singer-songwriter with his now two-week #1 song “Marry Me.”
