The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series is heading to Atlanta Motor Speedway this week for the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500.
Last week it was NASCAR’s next generation taking center stage as Austin Dillon scored the win in the season opening Daytona 500. Many of the newest stars in NASCAR’s top division also had a very strong showing the Great American Race. One has to ask if the veteran racers will have their hands full again this week with the younger drivers showing their continued skills and enthusiasm to do well in the sport?

Jimmie Johnson leads all active drivers in wins at Atlanta having done it five times in NASCAR’s top division. Next is Kasey Kahne and Kurt Busch with three wins each. Kyle Busch has scored two wins at Atlanta with Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick and last year’s winner of this race Brad Keselowski all enjoying a single win at the track.
