Brad Paisley collaborated on a different kind of art in Nashville. He joined local artist Rob Hendon to paint a mural at Bridgestone Arena.
If you have been to a Brad Paisley concert you have seen his skill on the guitar and whether you knew it or not you also saw his skill as a visual artist as well. The cartoons, painting and graphics you see on the big screen at his concerts are done by Brad himself.
Brad gets to show off that artistic ability to each and every person that attends a concert, event or hockey game at Bridgestone Arena in the future. Brad joined famed guitar painter Rob Hendon (you can see his guitar-themed works throughout Nashville and the world) to cover a wall at the Nashville arena with a mural that pays homage the Predators, the local NHL hockey team, as well as the town known as “Music City USA” that is the world capital of country music.
Yesterday (1/22) Brad and Rob unveiled the mural that the two created. In a news report by Nashville’s News Channel 5 (watch it below) Rob reveals that the overall design of the mural was created by Brad. You can also watch a time-lapse video of Brad and Rob painting the mural below.
Brad also used the mural unveiling as a chance to announce the addition of an April 6th stop at the Bridgestone Arena as part of his “Weekend Warrior World Tour.”
That tour will be making a stop here in Bloomington, IL at Grossinger Motors Arena Thursday, February 15th with special guests Dustin Lynch, Chase Bryant and Lindsay Ell. Get complete concert and ticket details for that stop here.
If you go to the show you will get the chance to see more of Brad’s artwork firsthand during the concert.
