B104 is proud to team with the McLean County Sportsmen’s Association again for the 27th Annual Wild Game Banquet to benefit local children’s charities.
The 2018 event will take place once again at the Interstate Center on the west side of Bloomington, IL Saturday, February 3rd. Doors will open at 2:30 PM with dinner being served at 4:30 PM.
Appetizers will be available when the doors open and the dinner will include Roast Turkey, Pheasant Stroganoff, Elk Tips w/ gravy, Fried Pollock, Cheesy potatoes, Green Beans, Mac & Cheese and Cookies. I’ve been going to this event for years now so trust me, it’s all delicious!
The night will include raffles, a silent auction and a live auction for many really amazing items! One of the items is a guitar (pictured at the bottom of the page) that B104 has taken to area concerts over the past year and had the country stars autograph. The signatures on the guitar include: Chris Stapleton, Toby Keith, Dylan Scott, Lee Brice, Drew Baldridge, William Michael Morgan, Tucker Beathard, Brantley Gilbert, Luke Combs and Justin Moore.
This event is the McLean County Sportsmen’s major fundraiser and allows them to put on events through the year for the children in our area such as their annual youth fishing derby and hunter safety classes.
The money raised at this event is also used to help support local charities including Special Olympics, Easter seals and various other organizations including IHSA fishing teams, ISU Fishing & Trap Shooting Clubs and more.
Tickets for the event are $35 in advance and will be $40 the day of the event at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased at Smileys Sport Shop, Darnell Gun Range, Wired 2 Fish and Chucks Harley Davidson.
