The guys in the country music trio Midland has a special bra on their bus.
Mark Wystrach, Jess Carson and Cameron Duddy combine their musical abilities to form the hot new country music group that just received their first ever Grammy Awards nominations.
However, like many musical stars, the trio has received some special shall we say “gifts” from fans during concerts.
Mark recalls one such concert and what turned out to be a special “gift” the trio received during the concert.
“There is a particular bra that is commemorated and sitting on the bus,” he reveals. “We had a crazy show at the California State Fair and we did have a bunch of bras and whatnot that were thrown on stage.”
What made this particular bra so special? “Some girl, after the show, like grabbed Jess she goes, ‘Um, excuse me. Uh, that bra that I threw at you, it’s actually like brand new. I just wore it and it’s really expensive. Can you find it and like get it back to me?’,” Mark explains.
Unfortunately the request was not able to be granted, “I was already wearing it on my head and was running off stage,” Mark confesses, “so, she didn’t get it back.”
Well, perhaps that young lady will get some satisfaction in the knowledge that her expensive, new bra holds a place of honor on the band’s bus.
The trio’s debut #1 song “Drinkin’ Problem” is nominated for Grammy awards in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance and Best Country Song categories. Listen for that song and their follow-up single “Make A Little” on B104.
We will find out if Midland changes from a “Grammy Nominated” trio to a “Grammy Winning Trio” Jan. 28, 2018 during the 60th Annual Grammy Awards live from Madison Square Garden in New York City 6:30-10 PM central time (7:30-11 PM eastern time) on CBS.
