Last night (12/5) was the live results show for the Top 10 on The Voice Season 13. How many of Blake Shelton‘s Team Blake artists advanced to the Top 8 Semi-Finals?
That’s right, Top EIGHT! TWO artists were eliminated last night from the hit TV singing competition. Throughout the one-hour episode it was revealed which artists had earned an automatic advance to next week’s live show between performances from special guests like Team Blake member and winner from season four (2013) of the show Danielle Bradbery who performed her song “Worth It” that you can watch below.
By the time the bottom three artists in the voting were revealed we found out that all three of Blake’s remaining artists advanced to the semi-finals, both of Adam Levine’s remaining artists also advanced.
Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson each had a single artist from their respective teams earn the automatic advance to nest week by the voting alone.
That meant Team Jennifer artists Davon Fleming and Shi’Ann Jones along with Team Miley artist Ashland Craft would have to sing and hope for the Twitter Instant Save to get one of them through to next week’s show.
Once all three had performed and the viewing public cast their votes via Twitter, the one artist that would advance was revealed.
The Top 8 on season 13 of The Voice includes three artists from Team Blake, Red Marlow, Chloe Kohanski and Keisha Renee; two artists from Team Adam, Adam Cunningham and Addison Agen; two artists from Team Jennifer, Noah Mac and Davon Fleming; and just a single artist from Team Miley, Brooke Simpson.
Since next week is the Semi-Finals of season 13 of The Voice it should be obvious that means four artists will be eliminated from the competition to set up the Finals for the following week. That makes next week’s performances the most important the Top 8 have done so far on the show.
We will find out which artists rise to the challenge Monday night, December 11th starting at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) live on NBC with the Semi-Finals on The Voice Season 13.
