Dierks Bentley has a song featured in the movie Only The Brave that is in theaters today (10/20).
The song is called “Hold The Light” and Dierks says he couldn’t write a better song that fits the movie better, “I tried to write a few other things, but there’s no way I could beat that song. It was just too good and too perfect for the movie.”
The song’s message fits the movie and other situations in life according to the country music singer-songwriter, “You know, in a time of darkness to hold the light, hold on to hope.”
Dierks explains that the part of the movie the song is featured in has great significance, “Having it in that part of the movie is a one plus one equals three type of scenario, where the combined good is greater than their sums. And it’s just a very powerful spot.”
“I’m just grateful to be associated with a film that’s as important as this one,” Dierks confesses.
