Last night (10/17) the Battle Rounds continued on The Voice Season 13. The question is who did Blake Shelton keep on Team Blake moving forward? Here is the answer…
Blake paired two very gifted artists together in Mitchell Lee and Dennis Drummond. He gave the two the song “Mr. Jones” by Counting Crows to perform. It was a pretty equal battle from start to finish leaving Blake with a difficult decision to make. Watch the battle performance below.
Blake ultimately decided to keep Mitchell on Team Blake moving forward in the competition. However, Dennis remains on The Voice as Adam Levine hit his button to steal the six-foot-eight singer-guitar player to his team.
I say this every season and I will repeat it again, I do NOT like the montage videos. I understand the whole “time thing” for TV, but if the artists were good enough to make it on the show we should get to see their complete performance on the show … just my opinion. With that said…
In a video montage below we see that Blake paired Esera Tuaolo with Rebecca Brunner for the Battle Rounds. The two sang the song “This I Promise You” by NSYNC. Blake chose to keep Esera on Team Blake after the battle.
You can check out where all the teams stand at the official website for The Voice here.
Helping Blake during the Battle Rounds as Team Blake mentors are the members of Rascal Flatts. Blake, Gary, Jay and Joe Don have some fun playing “Rad or Bad” along with all the coaches and mentors. Watch the video fun below.
The Battle Rounds on season 13 of The Voice will continue Monday, October 23rd at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) on NBC.
