The nominees for the 45th annual American Music Awards were announced yesterday morning, and although it is a multi-genre awards show, it’s going to be a great night for Country fans!
Several country stars made the list this year, including Keith Urban who leads with three nominations for Favorite Male Artist, Favorite Album and Favorite Song. Sam Hunt also got an edge with multiple nominations including Favorite Male Artist and Favorite Song, both up against Keith Urban. Garth Brooks also made the list, and is the only country artist to ever get a nomination for an American Music Award in an ell-genre category.
