Brett Young wants to change the look of the interior of his home by putting some metal on the walls.
I am not talking about replacing the drywall and wallpaper with actual metal … Brett has some new plaques that he would like to display proudly in his home. This past weekend the country music singer-songwriter was surprised by his label with a plaque commemorating a Gold certification for his self-titled debut album, as well as Platinum status for his single “Sleep Without You” and Double Platinum for “In Case You Didn’t Know.”

He wants to get those plaques on his walls at home at his first opportunity. “I wanna put ’em all up,” Brett laughingly admits.
While he isn’t sure what that desire says about him psychologically, Brett is proud of the work put in to achieve those career milestones.
“I don’t know what that makes me look like as a person if you walk into my house and that’s all that’s on the walls,” he shares, “I haven’t really come to grips with that yet. But, that said, you spend so much time doing it [working on the songs and albums] that like why wouldn’t you want to remember all the tiny little victories along the way.”
I agree Brett, you put a lot of work in to reach these milestones and earn those plaques. I think you need to display them prominently in your home.
Heck, if it were me there would be special lighting installed to draw attention to them and maybe even motion sensors that would cause some victorious music to play when anybody walked by them … but that’s just me. LOL
