While many country music stars tend to stay away from discussing politics, Justin Moore has no problem with it. In fact, he says he might run for office someday.
The singer-songwriter isn’t sure if he would try for the big house at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. in our Nation’s capital, another capital is not out of the question.
“I don’t know about the White House,” Justin shares. “I do enjoy politics and I’m intrigued by them so I don’t know, when this is all over, I may try to try to make a run to the capital in Little Rock [Arkansas], but I don’t know if I’ll take it to the White House.”
If you wonder what the Arkansas native’s politics are and you don’t have the chance to ask him about it in person, you can probably figure a lot of where he stands on issues by listening to his music.
Right now Justin is enjoying being a father of three girls and a newborn son while making music and touring around doing concerts. That travel meeting people of all walks of life all over the country and could give him a perspective that a lot of political hopefuls never get before running for office. Somewhere down the road “Arkansas Governor Justin Moore” may not be a bad idea.
To use a potentially bad pun with his latest single currently in the top five on the country radio airplay charts, if Justin Moore doesn’t run for Governor, “Somebody Else Will.”
