Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line were presented plaques to signify that their latest album Dig Your Roots has been certified Platinum.
Just before the duo’s sold-out “Smooth Tour” stop in Bristow, Virginia last Saturday night (8/5), representatives from the RIAA presented the awards to the duo. Yesterday (8/8) they posted the picture below of the presentation on their Twitter account. The Platinum certification represents more than one million copies of the album being sold.

This makes the third album out of three to go Platinum for Florida Georgia line including their debut album Here’s To The Good Times (Double-Platinum) and their second album Anything Goes.
Florida Georgia Line is one of only three country artists to reach Platinum album sales in the past year. They are the only country artist to reach that mark with three separate Platinum or better certified songs in that time period (“H.O.L.Y.” [Double-Platinum], “May We All” featuring Tim McGraw, “God, Your Mama and Me” featuring Backstreet Boys).
Congratulations to Florida Georgia Line on their Platinum album Dig Your Roots.
