Michael Ray is not only a country music singer, but also a huge Cubs fan. He got the chance to mark off an item on his bucket list by throwing out the 1st pitch at the Cubs game Tuesday (8/1).
The Cubs played host to the Arizona Diamondbacks at Wrigley Field in Chicago Tuesday and Michael got to walk out on the historic field to throw out the ceremonial first pitch of the game. He shared the picture below on his Instagram account.
The experience that Michael will be reliving in his mind for a long time, “The energy from the crowd when you’re on that mound coupled with the anticipation of that first pitch … it is just insane. What an experience!” he shares.
Michael re-tweeted a post from the Chicago Cubs Twitter account that not only shows pictures of his 1st pitch experience, but also what was likely another bucket list item. Michael also got to sing “Take Me Out To The Ballpark” during the 7th Inning Stretch.
