12-year-old Marisa McKaye absolutely wowed the judges and audience on America’s Got Talent when she covered a Martina McBride song.

First of all let me say that in my opinion covering a Martina song is a tall order for ANY singer yet alone a 12-year-old. Choosing one of Martina’s power ballads like “Broken Wing” only makes the task more difficult, again in my opinion.

This young lady played her guitar and belted out the lyrics with almost ease and even held out a note for what seemed like forever bringing the audience to cheers.

The judges, including the typically sour Simon Cowell, were wowed by the talent this young lady displayed. To be completely honest, I don’t really watch the show that often. However, a friend asked me if I had seen this performance so I looked for it online. When I watched it I was wowed too! However, I do not know if she advanced on the show or not.
