Keith Urban invited Lauren Alaina on stage to perform the song “We Were Us” live in concert.

Keith had a #1 with the song that featured Miranda Lambert back in 2013. In the video above, he points out that he doesn’t get to do the song during his concerts. Obviously because Miranda is not on tour with him.

Well, he took the chance to do the song with Lauren filling in for Miranda on the song in concert recently and he shared the video for those of us not at the concert to enjoy. Watch that performance at the top of the page and watch the music video for the original with Miranda at the bottom of the page.

Keith posted on his Twitter page about Lauren’s performance with the message…

“Hey @Lauren_Alaina – I got an open mic for u anytime 👊🤘 – KU”
