Chris Lane has notched some career firsts over the past few years. Last weekend he “slipped” in another first for his career.
Actually Chris has two career firsts last weekend. Chris was included in the line-up Friday night July 7th for Florida Georgia Line‘s stadium show at Fenway Park with the Backstreet Boys. Chris’ opening act slot marked his first ever stadium show as a performer. That was the good first for his career.
During his set Chris was singing and walking across the stage when the other first for his career happened. He slipped on the stage and ended up flat on his back. Watch the video he posted to Instagram of the career first below.
To be fair, it does appear that the stage might have been a little wet. However, when you are on stage at Fenway Park and slip and fall on your butt, there is no hiding the incident.
I will commend Chris for doing the professional thing of sitting up, smiling about the fall and then continuing on with the song.
Chris will have two more chances to have a slip-free stadium show performance when he again joins Florida Georgia Line and the Backstreet Boys at Target Field in Minnesota July 29th and at Wrigley Field in Chicago August 12th.
