Lady Antebellum released their much anticipated new album Heart Break today, and Charles Kelley says the project is “positive.”

The album features the debut single “You Look Good” which is climbing the charts at #12 this week on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles chart and #13 on the Billboard Country Airplay singles chart. You can watch the music video for the song at the bottom of the page.

The Grammy Award winning group’s Charles Kelley says, “We tried to make a good positive record.”

He admits that not every song is positive on the project, “I mean, there’s a couple sad songs on there, but for the most part it’s a pretty uplifting record.”

Charles explains his statement saying, “You know, with songs like ‘Teenage Heart’, ‘Good Time To Be Alive’ you know, ‘Heart Break’ is kinda that twist you know giving your heart a break.”

So how is the album’s title track a “twist”? Charles shares, “It’s actually a really positive song about being a strong female or just a strong person in general that doesn’t have to necessarily find their confidence in being with someone.”

I personally can’t wait to listen to the entire new project from Lady Antebellum. I checked at the writing of this blog and the album is already #1 on the iTunes Country Album Sales chart and #1 on the iTunes All-Genre Album Sales chart.

Congratulations to Lady Antebellum on the release of their new album Heart Break.
