Luke Bryan is one of the many country music acts that will betaking part in CMA Fest this week in Nashville and for him it is a family event.

CMA Fest was once called “Fan Fair.” It is a week where country music fans and the stars of country music get together in Nashville for concerts, fan club parties and so much more to celebrate the music they all love.

Luke says he always looks forward to this week. “I truly love this week for hundreds of reasons,” he shares.

He remembers being a part of the festivities before he made it to the top level in country music. “I always remember my first ones and starting out and doing River Stages,” Luke recalls, “and always dreaming of coming over here and performing at LP Field (now Nissan Stadium).”

It is more than just doing the big shows, it is also getting close to people he says, “all of the stuff building the fan base early in the week.” Those fans have become part of his country music family over the years.

Luke admits that the week celebrating country music is equally important for the city of Nashville as well as himself, “It’s an amazing week for Nashville, and it’s a great week for me.”

An added bonus for the country music superstar that spends a good portion of his year on the road is getting to work from home. “I get to be home and do all this stuff,” he reveals, adding, “It’s always been a fun week for me.”

Beyond his country music family, Luke also gets to see a lot of his relatives during CMA Fest, “A lot of my family always comes in for this week.”

Why wouldn’t Luke love being a part of CMA Fest when he gets to share it with both his country music family and his real-life family while doing what he loves to do, sing country music. Enjoy the “family reunion” at CMA Fest Luke!
