We have teamed with the Normal CornBelters to “Play It Forward” with FREE tickets to Sunday’s game featuring Ryne Sandberg!

The official start of summer in the Memorial Day Weekend and what better way to celebrate the 104 Days of Summer than at a baseball game?

This Sunday, May 28th (first pitch at 4:35) is another Family FUNday Sunday! Chicago Cubs legend Ryne Sandberg will be making a special appearance at The Corn Crib.

Friday morning (May 26th) starting at 8 AM we will be at Denny’s Doughnuts & Bakery on South Main Street in Bloomington with FREE tickets to the CornBelters game Sunday! Just stop by to claim yours while supplies last.

Sandberg will be throwing out the first pitch and serving as the team’s third base coach for the start of the game.

From the third to sixth inning, Ryne will be on the concourse for a meet and greet session with fans.

Previously announced winners from the CornBelters VIP weekly raffle will receive priority access to Ryne during the autograph session via a “fast lane.” All other fans will also have the opportunity to meet Ryne on a first-come-first-serve basis. Fans will be limited to one autographed item each, and there will be no posed pictures in order to keep the line moving and give as many fans as possible the opportunity to meet the Cubs all-time great.
