Luke Combs‘ debut single was stuck in the runner-up spot for weeks behind Sam Hunt until last week. Now “Hurricane” is spending a second week at #1.

In interviews all over Luke didn’t seem overly concerned that he was relegated to the number two position on the country radio airplay charts as Sam Hunt held the top spot for three weeks with his song “Body Like A Back Road.”

The patience Luke showed paid off last week as he finally ascended to the number one spot on the charts with his debut single “Hurricane.”

Apparently karma has decided that his patience should be rewarded even more as the song sits at the #1 spot on both the Billboard Country Radio Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles charts according to the advance release of both.

Congratulations to Luke Combs on scoring a two-week number one with his debut single “Hurricane.”
