Last night (5/17) was the semi-finals live elimination show on season 12 of The Voice. The Top 8 found out which of them will be a part of the final four for next week’s season finale with a chance to win it all.

Carson Daly revealed the top three artists in the voting that would automatically advance to the final four. The first artist revealed as an instant advance was Alicia Keys’ team member Chris Blue.

The next two artists that received the automatic advance were from Team Blake. Blake Shelton‘s two remaining female artists Lauren Duski and Aliyah Moulden were voted into the final four automatically.

Carson then revealed the three artists that would perform live for the chance to be the final person to be in the season finale next week with a chance to win The Voice. Both of Gwen Stefani’s artists Brennley Brown and Hunter Plake were announced as part of the three artists that would perform for a chance to advance. Adam Levine’s lone remaining artist Jesse Larson would be the third person to perform for a chance to be in the final four. That meant Team Blake’s TSoul and Team Alicia’s Vanessa Ferguson were eliminated from the competition.

The three artists with a last chance to remain on the show performed the songs they had picked and prepared should this situation face them.

After the performances, the Twitter Instant Save window was open and the viewers began tweeting. When the window closed, Carson revealed the results and which of the three artists would be the last artists in the final four.

Next week’s season finale for The Voice Season 12 will include two members of Blake Shelton’s team Lauren Duski and Aliyah Moulden, one member of Alicia Keys’ team Chris Blue and one member of Adam Levine’s team Jesse Larson.

The season finale of season 12 of The Voice begins Monday night, May 22nd at 7:00 PM central time (8:00 PM eastern time) on NBC.
