Since ‘Deadpool’ graced us with it’s presence in theaters last year, the desire by fans for more ‘Merc with a Mouth’ content has been through the roof! We already know we are getting a Deadpool sequel sometime in 2018 but, it has been announced, we are getting ‘Deadpool’ animated TV show thanks to creative mind Donald Glover! You know him from the TV show ‘Atlanta’ and he will be in the upcoming Han Solo movie.

The TV show will also debut in 2018 on FXX for a 10 episode run according to the New York Times. The Times also reported that the show will have a similar tone to that on the movie.

I am both excited and nervous for this. The fact that Donald Glover is leading this charge is great news. However, Ryan Reynolds is the guy who made Deadpool pop on screen. I feel, without him, the show may not have the same flare. But who knows, maybe Ryan will be involved and my nerves will diminish as the show gets closer to airing. Regardless, we can all agree that this show is going to push the enevelop and keep our friends at the FCC busy! haha!
