Last night (5/8) the Top 10 on season 12 of The Voice performed with hopes of making the semi-finals next week. How did they do?
Tonight on the live elimination show the Top 10 will become the Top 8 as The Voice Season 12 prepares for next week’s semi-finals. That means that two artists, regardless of what team they are on, will find their journeys on the show come to an end.
Last night the 10 remaining artists poured out their talents on the stage along with their hearts, emotions and dreams of advancing to next week’s competition with the chance of winning on the show.
Not only did the Top 10 perform, but so did country music superstar and coach Blake Shelton. He sang his current top 20 hit song “Every Time I Hear That Song.” Watch his performance just below.
One of the forms of voting is iTunes sales. I looked at where the performances from last night are on the iTunes chart as I do every week during the show. The performances are posted below in the order they ranked on iTunes at 8:30 AM central time when I checked.
(iTunes Rank, Artist Name, Team)
#7 – Hunter Plake – Team Gwen
#8 – Lauren Duski – Team Blake
#12 – Brennley Brown – Team Gwen
#15 – Jesse Larson – Team Adam
#16 – Aliyah Moulden – Team Blake
#18 – Chris Blue – Team Alicia
#22 – TSoul – Team Blake
#54 – Lilli Passero – Team Adam
#71 – Vanessa Ferguson – Team Alicia
#74 – Mark Isaiah – Team Adam
Based solely on the iTunes charts at the time I checked, Gwen Stefani should be fine this week with her team. Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Alicia Keys all have the chance of having artists eliminated tonight.
Each week I also remind you and myself that the iTunes sales only counts as one form of voting. There are other methods that can completely change the picture painted above. Additionally, the voting remains open until 11:00 AM central time (12 NOON eastern time), which also means even the picture above can change.
The only way to know for sure which artists will be in danger of elimination is to watch The Voice Season 12 Top 10 Live Elimination Show tonight on NBC starting at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time.)
